XL ProSteels are D’Addario’s brightest bass guitar strings. The unique, highly magnetic alloy in ProSteels delivers super-bright tone with magnified presence and attack. Made with a high carbon steel core and stainless steel wrap wire, ProSteels produce enhanced interaction with magnetic pickups, offering a palette of harmonically rich, brilliantly penetrating highs, combined with pronounced, tight-and-tough lows. Made for 6-string basses, this 32-130 Regular Light Super Long Scale set takes our most popular gauge, adds a low B-string on the bottom, as well as a high C-string on top, plus additional scale length over standard long scale strings.

EPS170-6SL is a Super Long 6-string version of the best-selling D’Addario ProSteels bass set. With the addition of the .130 low B and wound .30 high C strings, this set offers the ideal combination of biting high end, punchy lows and super long life. Fits super-long scale basses with a string scale length of up to 38 inches.

ProSteels are D'Addario's brightest and most magnetic bass strings. A specialized steel alloy delivers harmonically rich, brilliant high-end coupled with deep, tight lows that work in tandem to create the coveted "Piano tone" steel players crave.
